Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) in Indonesia has been interviewed by a leading radio station on how a process-based approach to management systems implementation and certification helps to deliver food safety.
The 60-minute talk show itself is presented by Hatta Djamil, LRQA assessor, and features LRQA’s client, Zaenal Arifin from Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta (http://www.shangri-la.com/jakarta/shangrila), and is hosted by Delta FM’s senior broadcaster Raynia Atmadja. Delta FM is a popular local talk show which is broadcast across eight of the biggest cities in Indonesia.
The show itself is based on the need of educating organisations and citizens across Indonesia on the importance of food safety in their daily lives. As LRQA Indonesia’s Business Centre Manager Tribudi Widodo, says: ‘We want people to understand more on food safety to to drive consumer and other key stakeholder confidence as well as ultimately helping to safeguard the lives of people across Indonesia. On the road to food safety, this can only be seen as a positive step." For LRQA Indonesia itself, this is the first time that they have participated on a radio talk show to give their technical insight on such an important topic. This, as Tribudi adds, is part of LRQA's strategy to continue to raise LRQA’s profile as well as our unique assessment methodology - LRQA Business Assurance - to a wider audience in Indonesia.
