Gap Analysis Against ISO/DIS 9001:2014

Before starting the transition process towards the new ISO 9001 standard, many organisations choose to have a gap analysis to enable them to understand where their management system sits in terms of compliance to the new draft standard and what action – if any – needs to be taken. Through this you will be to identify specific areas to improve your system for a smooth transition to ISO 9001:2015. 

A LRQA Gap Analysis performed by our assessors reviews how your management system has addressed, or plans to address, all requirements of the new draft international standard for ISO/DIS 9001:2014.  

Our assessor will report on gaps in your system. This analysis gives you the opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have about your system, the revised standard and the assessment process with us. Currently we can provide two options for Gap Analysis:

Gap Analysis Light

You will…

• identify areas for improvement relating specifically to the major changes in ISO/DIS 9001:2014.

• receive an analysis report to support your transition.

Full Gap Analysis

This service…

• looks at your management system in terms of Annex SL and all of the changes relating to ISO/DIS 9001:2014. 

• will provide an analysis report that will make you an expert on the implications of the revisions for your organisation.  

Gap Analysis uses a sampling technique and the analysis will concentrate on interpretation and implementation of the relevant requirements.
